Legends of Summer's wedding rate sits near the top of the market for New England wedding bands, and for good reason! We are in very high demand, especially during wedding season, and we’re the ultimate professionals. That comes with a guarantee that you're getting one of the most award-winning, well-reviewed wedding bands available today. We're industry veterans with countless happy clients and overflowing dance floors, with a state-of-the-art sound system AND stage lighting, so there’s never a break in the party. If this is your vision for your wedding party, we're your guys.
NOTE: That said, we never like to let budget get in the way of a great party. We’ll do whatever we can to make sure we match your vision for the day perfectly, and that includes price. Let us know what you’ve set aside and we’ll do everything we can to work with you!
✅What sets you apart from other wedding bands?
We're not a traditional "wedding band." No horns, no cheesy synth, no YMCA… you get the idea. What we ARE is an award-winning, Knot Hall-of-Fame party band that does weddings. We are all Berklee-trained musicians with over ten years of wedding and event experience, and we’ve been the house band at South Boston’s Lincoln tavern for the better part of a decade. Before forming Legends of Summer in 2016, we performed in the popular Boston band Green Line Inbound, and earned tons of 5-star reviews and accolades from hundreds of awesome wedding clients. ✅Do you take requests?
YES! Our couples have full control of our entire setlist - select as many or as few songs as you'd like, and we'll build a killer dance party set around it. And if you've always dreamed of singing with a live band at your wedding, the stage is YOURS.
✅Will you learn new songs for my event?
Absolutely, we guarantee at least one new song for wedding clients, just tell us what you’d like to hear! If you have more, or if we can't add it to our song library for whatever reason, our DJ will play it during our set breaks. Literally NO song is off limits.

✅What do you wear on stage?
From black tie to beach cocktail casual, we will gladly match whatever your guests are wearing. Just let us know the preferred attire for the night!
✅Will you perform for my ceremony and cocktail hour too?
We offer multiple options for ceremonies and cocktail hours, including DJ/MC and acoustic solo or duo performances, and our award-winning FUNKTAIL HOUR featuring the full band lineup performing chill, super-fun instrumental versions of your favorite rock/pop/hip hop songs. Each ceremony and cocktail package comes with its own professional sound system, so the guests in the back row don't miss a thing.
✅Are you fully insured?
Yes - we are registered as a small business with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts AND fully insured, so we can provide a certificate of insurance as needed.
✅How early do you arrive to set up?
Our professional sound and lighting team arrives 2-3 hours before guests arrive, giving us ample time to set up our sound and lighting system and sound check to match your specific venue's needs.
✅Do you provide other services, like uplighting or photobooths?
We are also a full-service planning and rental agency! We can provide uplighting, photobooth, event planning, photography and videography on demand, as well as many others!

✅Do we have to provide you with travel and accommodations?
There is NO extra charge for travel and accommodations down the road - those will factor right into your initial quote, so there are no hidden upcharges as the date approaches. We will book our own rooms, flights, ferries, etc. It’s less stuff for you to worry about, so you can focus on planning.
✅What do we need to lock in our date with you?
To fully lock in your date, we accept a small booking fee and a signed contract. The booking fee will be deducted from your total balance, which is due one month prior to your event date.
